Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She started her career in minor roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she portrayed the role of reporter Willa McPherson on FX's series Dirt. She also played an appearance in FX's short-lived series The Ex List. She was a part of the young Moira O'Hara in the debut season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the third season. She voiced Jessie Anderson's character in the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie was the character she played in the NBC series This Is Us. She voiced a variety of characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since the year 2019, she has been appearing as Melinda "Mel" Monroe as a character in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 when her mother and she moved to California [1The couple lived there for a year before finally arriving in Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to be fascinated by photography, acting and singing at the age of 13. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue an acting career.
